Spring Poetry

When the snow finally melted, the sun started to shine, and the trees began to bud, the Grade 1/2 students were so excited for Spring! To celebrate the arrival of Spring during our Home Learning sessions, students created visual poetry. First, we started by brainstorming a list of things that make us think of Spring. Next, we came up with a list of describing words. Then, students sketched a picture that represented Spring, and along the lines used the lists of words to create their image.
